Scarlett Moffatt has reflected on the ‘highs and lows’ of her time in her Bishop Auckland home as she says goodbye to the property ahead of her and boyfriend Scott Dobinson’s big move.

It was at the end of last year that former Gogglebox star Scarlett put her luxurious County Durham house up for sale for just under £400,000 as she teased that she and police officer Scott were ‘off of an adventure.’

That adventure is move to what the couple dubbed their ‘dream forever home’ in the North East, with them setting up an Instagram page – Our Bonnie Barn – to give fans regular updates on how building work has been progressing.

Over the past few months the home page has amassed a following of close to 100,000 as Scarlett, who won I’m A Celebrity in 2016, and other half Scott have showed off their stunning new kitchen, bathroom, inside balcony and even a Covid-friendly toilet!

But at the weekend, Scarlett, 30, put the focus back on her old home as she and Scott said their goodbyes.

Posting a quick time lapse tour of the house, she wrote: “Goodbye Etherley Edge Villa. You’ve seen so many highs and a few lows. You’ve seen me laugh, you’ve seen me cry, you’ve seen me heartbroken & you’ve seen me meet the love of my life @scottdobby.

“You’ve helped me feel safe during Covid times. You made me feel like I was officially an adult the first time I was given the keys to your door.

“I celebrated my 30th birthday here, 4 christmases here, my little sister turning into a teenager, my Mams 50th, so many Sunday clubs with my besties, 3 Valentine’s Days with Scott.”

Giving her many social media followers an update on when they’ll move into their new home, Scarlett, currently on screen as host of cookery dating show Love Bites, added: “I shall miss you, but I am excited for my new adventure with Scott.

“Hopefully we get to move into our forever home beginning of March, keep your fingers crossed my lovelies.”
