Rarely in your travels do you meet an exraordinary human being without knowing or being told just how extraordinary that person really is. Jean Bonzi was an extraordinary human being. As his story unravels, and with proof of his exploits in the many photographs he left as a legacy, we’ll get to know him and be the richer for doing so. The photographs cover the many theatres of war in which he fought, sometimes for his country and always for adventure. He took most of the photographs himself and with any luck, we’ll be able to find the camera he used and perhaps be lucky enough to press the shutter just one more time. Our next step is to seek expertise in translating his dossier - so stay tuned and we’ll bring it to you when it’s done. Meanwhile, take a look at some of his photographs that were gathered in one album and presented to him as a memento when receiving his medal. Remember! Stay tuned and be ready for BONZI!
